Moment of Faith
Have you ever tried to bust an egg by placing it in the palm of your hand and squeezing it? You might be surprised to find that it is very difficult to do. It’s amazing that something so fragile can withstand so much pressure. In 2 Corinthians 12:10, the apostle Paul says, “I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” You see, Paul came to realize that on his own, he was weak, but in God’s hands, he was made strong. Like the egg that surprises us with its strength in our hand, you may be surprised at the strength God gives when we are in His.
